Our Day Camp encourages our campers to learn how to engage and cooperate with others within a fun outdoor camp setting. Campers will be placed into groups based on age and supervised by a group of designated staff throughout their day-to-day activities.
The Day Camp Program runs through a 9-week period from June 27th to August 26th, Monday-Friday. Each camp day begins at 8am and ends at 5pm. Camp drop off is between the times of 8am and 9am and pick-up is between the times of 4pm and 5pm.
If early pick-up is needed, we ask all parents or guardians to fill out a form prior to pick-up with our camp office coordinator so we can inform our staff and have your child ready to be picked up.
Our goal at Camp Tehanamokeset is to give all campers of all ages an opportunity to experience a multitude of different camp activities throughout the camp week. Some of these activities include archery, art, swimming, nature, sports and much more!

The (CIT) program is designed for young teens who have aged out of the traditional camp experience. Participants will learn basic safety, group control, games, best practices and how to support the mission of the camp. This experience will provide individuals with valuable employment skills, healthy relationships, and opportunities to lead. CITs will be responsible for completing a group “project” of their own choosing. Some previous year examples may include building games for campers, building equipment for camp (i.e. a bridge over a muddy area), transforming an area of camp for new program space.

The program was designed by the Chase Michael Anthony Kowalski Foundation (CMAK) in an effort to turn tragedy into triumph. Participants take part in a six-week coaching program to teach and improve swim, bike, and running skills, culminating in a youth triathlon. Through a generous grant, there is no charge for this program.
