Heritage Park CHILDCARE

The Heritage Park YMCA Early Childhood Center is equipped with an abundance of materials and equipment that allows kids to develop their minds and bodies. An assessment system assists the well-trained staff with supporting the strengths of each child as he or she learns new skills, and experiences enrichment through activities such as swimming and dance.

To encourage family and community involvement in the childhood development process, the Heritage Park staff works with a robust Parent Advisory Committee to organize and promote events Those events include family nights, and celebrations of holidays and other significant observations.

During school and summer vacation weeks, activity-rich day camp programs aimed at continuing the learning process are conducted. Children participate in field trips, see presentations by skilled artisans and take part in other meaningful activities, some of which are connected to weekly themes. Families that have memberships at Heritage Park also have privileges at the Family YMCA.
