Traditional Day Camp

Camp Pawtucket’s Traditional Day Camp offers more than just childcare. It’s a place where children grow, learn, and enjoy summer. Our goal is to Create Amazing Memories and People, also known as CAMP! Through a mix of structured and free-choice activities, campers develop both gross and fine motor skills, build social and emotional confidence, and explore new interests each day.

  • Voyagers Camp
    Embark on an unforgettable journey with our Voyagers Travel Camp! Designed for campers ages 12-16, this immersive program offers a dynamic blend of travel, education, and fun-filled activities. An additional trip fee add-on is required - see questionnaire.
    Ages: 12 - 16 | Price: $285 per week (plus $75 trip fee) | Weeks: 1 - 10

  • Art Explosion Camp
    Participate in our expanded art program. Campers will be working in different mediums and building upon their talent. 
    Ages: 5 - 16 | Price: $295 | Weeks: 4 & 7

  • Sports Medley Camp
    Experience the ultimate sports adventure. Campers will engage in a variety of athletic activities, from basketball and soccer to volleyball and kickball, fostering teamwork, skill development, and fun-filled competition!
    Ages: 5 - 16 | Price: $295 | Weeks: 1 - 10

  • Swim Lesson Add-On
    Optional swim instruction is built in at the end of the camp day, helping campers improve water safety, confidence, and swimming skills.
    Available for select ages | Additional Fee: $30 per week

How Camp Works

Campers are grouped by age so they're with peers at similar developmental stages. As children return each summer, their group moves forward and takes on new activities!

  • Pathfinders: Ages 5 - 6
  • Frontiers: Ages 7 - 8
  • Explorers: Ages 9 - 10
  • Adventurer: Ages 11 - 12
  • Pioneers: Ages 13 - 14
  • Leaders in Training (LIT): Ages 15 - 16

What to Expect

Each day offers a balance of indoor and outdoor activities such as swimming, creative arts, group games, and nature exploration. Staff members are trained to support campers, encourage them to try new things, and ensure safety.

  • Dates: June 22 - August 28
  • Time: 6:30 AM - 6 PM
  • Cost: Starting at $285 per week
    • Includes daily lunch and weekly field trips to Camp Westwood
